With over 50 years of hands-on boating experience, Mike Stidham is a true mariner at heart. He has spent thousands of hours aboard vessels of all kinds, up to 90 feet in length and brings that deep knowledge and passion to every client interaction. An avid fisherman and licensed pilot, Mike has been operating out of the Southport location since 2012, where he has successfully guided more than a thousand clients through the buying and selling process.

Mike is known for his highly personal approach, treating every transaction with the same care and attention he would his own. His reputation is built on trust, professionalism, and long-standing relationships with clients and industry professionals alike.

A native of North Carolina with a lifelong passion for life on the water, Captain Hatch Perry brings deep experience and dedication to every aspect of boating. Raised sailing and powerboating along the Neuse River at Camp Sea Gull in Arapahoe, NC, Hatch developed his love for the water at an early age—an enthusiasm that has shaped his personal and professional journey.

An accomplished sailor, both recreationally and competitively, Captain Hatch has helmed sailing vessels, offshore fishing boats, and luxury motor yachts throughout the East Coast, the Bahamas, the British Virgin Islands, and Cuba. In addition to yacht brokerage, he offers yacht management services across Brunswick and New Hanover Counties, leading a trusted team of marine mechanics, electricians, and detailers who ensure every vessel is maintained and upgraded to the highest standard.

Captain Hatch is also a seasoned delivery captain, with a proven track record of transporting vessels safely and efficiently across the Eastern Seaboard and the Caribbean.

Before entering the marine industry, Hatch built a diverse portfolio of experience. He began his career as a specialist in English automobiles, later founding and growing a successful commercial, residential, and industrial moving company. He then established a thriving construction business in Raleigh, NC. These ventures helped him develop a rare combination of mechanical knowledge, operational leadership, and customer service—all of which he now brings to his true calling: yachting and brokerage.

Tim says he's been a bit of a waterman his entire life. Beginning in Ohio with time spent on Lake Erie and in the family pool, he was drawn to it with a strong magnetism. That carried with him to North Carolina when his family moved to a lake community where their backyard was a slalom course. Every afternoon was spent on the lake where he became an avid skier. When not being pulled behind the boat, he was typically found at the helm, especially when it came to docking where he shined, even at 10 years old. Continuing that waterside trend, Tim attended UNCW where he gained a Bachelor’s of Chemistry and even joined the water ski team before graduating and moving to San Diego in 1998. California brought his first experience as a Yacht Broker that taught him priceless knowledge about the industry and fueled his passion for the long-haul. From brokerage to new, sail to motoryacht, Tim sold and delivered countless brands and styles to hundreds of wonderful people throughout his career. In 2018, he created Marlin Marine Management that not only cares for the marine asset on which owners can rely, but also the coastal lifestyle that comes along with yacht ownership.
